Full of blistering stylized action, it’s a series in need of a great theme, which is why SawanoHiroyuki:Tielle & Gemie’s “gravityWall” is so fitting. Characters from anime, manga, and video games have somehow entered the real world, leaving it up to a group of high schoolers to do battle with their beloved icons. Re:Creators has an ingenious premise that tugs the imagination of any real anime fan.
